Vocational Education Programs
Education programs provide instruction and job experience to prepare inmates for entry level employment and integration into the work force. The program provides training opportunities in:
Parenting and Life Skills
Nurturing Parenting Program is an evidence-based, fully court-compliant program taught by a credentialed teacher. Life Skills education is also available to offenders in all custody levels. These classes teach important life skills to assist successful community reentry. These skills include: budgeting, finance and credit, applying, and interviewing, for a job as a felon, etc.
HiSET
These classes provide preparation and assessment by fully credentialed teachers in partnership with the Montana Office of Public Instruction. Special education teachers and services are available for offenders who qualify.
