Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment Centers

Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is common among Montana’s offender population. As such, the Montana Department of Corrections contracts with three nonprofit organizations to provide seven residential inpatient substance use disorder treatment facilities. The Department operates two programs at Pine Hills Correctional Facility (the Pine Hills Adult Training and Treatment Program (PHATTP) and the Pine Hills Assessment and Change Treatment (PHACT) Program).

Three facility types fall within this category — DUI treatment facilities, 90-day SUD treatment facilities, and long-term treatment facilities.
